"WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A ROCK STAR"
A DOCUMENTARY MINI-SERIES BY
The documentary mini-series is dedicated to musicians who decided to conquer Los Angeles, California and build their way up to the stardom. The project will give a glimpse of what is called “A road to success” and will give viewers the idea what musicians go through along the way: what they sacrificed for a music career in LA; what they left behind; what their biggest challenges are; what expectations and plans they have. Each of them has a unique own experience, and this documentary will share their stories and their music with the world, and possibly, bring them more followers.
In this project another Hollywood conqueror, a former TV journalist and a documentary producer for 15 years, now turned-to-be a music video director Anna Kovaleva, will interview artists in a very informal way. They will discuss ups and downs, pros and cons of their life and career. The point is to arouse viewers’ interest to artists not only as musicians, but as personalities, and gain viewers’ compassion and empathy. People more likely to follow musicians, who they find interesting as persons: with all their flows and imperfections, with their talent and passion, especially when they know what those artists went through, how their songs or music videos were born.
